Shorty Da Prince & Paigion Added To New Cast of 106 & Park
For months we've heard that BET would be replacing Terrence J & Rocsi on their hit show 106 & Park. In order to find replacements BET decided to give viewers the opportunity to participate and created something called "The Search" where viewers could apply to be the next host. Well after months of selections and voting replacements have finally been found and we're pleased to announce that none other than St. Louis's own Shorty Da Prince and his co-host Paigion from Detroit's HOT 107.5 have both been selected as the new hosts of 106 & Park. The two will join rapper Bow Wow and Miss Mykie as BET changes to a new 4 host platform.
Now to be honest, before I heard Shorty Da Prince was in the running for the position I had turned a deaf ear to the show and many of its announcements and even with the hype building around The Search I was still a bit hesitant. But after looking at the newly formed cast I can say I anticipate the direction of the show. The down to earth personalities the show will be receiving is something the show as well as the network could use to boost it's appearance.
