LeBron Finally Crowned As King & The Peasants Are Pissed!

He finally did it! LeBron mother freakin James has finally won his first NBA Championship and did it with style and grace. Ending the series in 5 games and 3 trophies to take home it's hard to deny that LeBron can officially be referred to as The King. But as I scan through the internet, I'm hearing a different tune...one I decided to dive a little farther into. Caught up so much in the celebration of Miami's championship last night, it was hard for me to pay attention to the boo's of haters. As the "Thunder Storm" settles and we watch The Heat Index begin to rise, many are upset with the shift in the temperature.

You'd think winning is enough for some to accept that LeBron and The Heat deserve some type of respect for their accomplishments. But as my Twitter timeline clearly proves, people have let slander be taken to a new high in this generation. It' one thing to admit there was some bad play calling in the Series, I'll be the first to admit that. But in the words of @koryplease...

It's no such thing as lucking up on a championship...

Believe me when I tell you, haters have not only grown a voice, but with the use of the internet they now have a loudspeaker. Some of these people with thousands of followers on Twitter have become a low grade celeb off of slandering people they'll never meet from their parents guest room. And don't take this the wrong way, I'm cool with jokes and have been known to crack a few myself but there's a line. It's fine to not like a player, but to be so upset that you completely disregard two MVP's, a Championship Trophy and A TRIPLE DOUBLE IN THE FINAL GAME OF THE FINALS?! Although some people who were upset by the loss simply admit that The Heat earned it, a good 1/4 of LeBron Haters focused solely on The Referee's, Kevin Durant's performance, Chris Bosh auditioning for porn celebrating in the locker room and the fact that The Thunder will be back next year. Now normally I wouldn't find an issue with that last part, but I'm not going to ignore the fact that no one would get this type of treatment in any other case. People hate the Heat so much they're giving credit to a team who only won ONE GAME in the finals and lost the last three games without keeping any of the games close in the end. It's bad enough for so many people to be a bandwagon OKC fan but to act like they "barely" lost is a huge sign that people are delusional.

At the end of the day, LeBron has been crowned. Whether you like it or not you'll be forced to accept it. But what many may want to pay attention to is a few things my friend @atownbrown08 pointed out last night. With the shift in power from one hand to another, we're forced to realize that some are slowly slipping farther away from the goal they all seek so desperately...

I'm not saying some people will never win in life. I'm saying that in order for someone to win, someone has to lose. People forget that.

"Durant is young. Give him time." He's turning 24. People were doing ringless talk about Bron in '09, when he was... 24. Just saying.

I remember when folks said Karl Malone, Charkles Barkley and Patrick Ewing could get a ring after MJ left in '93... but I'm just talking.
